Really like the use of Helvetica Neue to match Apple’s theme The bad: Not enough customizations - cannot choose your own fonts and colours The ugly: Certain customizations like choosing your wallpaper do NOT work at all! For the price and lack of substance, would not recommend this app to anyone until these basic functions and glitches have been dealt with

App does not work. Complete scam. Rip off. App wont open.

First it does what it says. I see most reviews are complaining that it doesn’t open. I though the same, but if you look on the title bar you will find it there. There you can select which theme you want to put on your screen. It even support different theme on multi monitors. Would like updates to include more themes.

It works and it’s free right now… Nice active desktop app...

Some really pretty options to choose from. I installed this looking for a good bit of information to be displayed on my desktop, such as weather, time, date, et cetera. Many of the layouts feature all these, though I found a rather obtrusive hangup in that the weather was just *wrong*. Not, say, my desktop says it should be 56 outside and it’s actually 50, but my desktop says it’s 40 and raining when it’s actually 70 and a sunny, gorgeous day. Uninstalled for unreliability. Also I want my old desktop picture back. You can technically set it so that the live content is on top of your custom wallpaper, but it’ll revert the next time you put your omputer to sleep. tl;dr, really aesthetically pleasing, just fix a few things and it’ll be a must-download.

Totally love it: I wanted something to show the time, day of the week, date, and weather on the desktop. A theme in the app does it! and boyyyy the typography is quite beautiful. Moreover you can change the background picture! Suggestion for improvement: Allow user to edit more, such as choosing the template information to combine on the desktop, and resize them.

The app works and does exactly what it says. I like many of the themes that include the weather. Feature request? Please, allow us to use our own desktop image underneath all the great information this application provides. Update: Weather always displays as 45° no matter what. Also, you can use your own desktop image. Love this app but please fix the weather glitch.

custom wallpaper not changing in elcapitan please update the bug.

This app does have a large seleciton of desktops and screens to choose from, but I was primarily interested in a desktop based live weather app that I could keep on the top/right corner of my imac and place my other apps (mail, calnedar, etc.) around. The only desktop that I found after purchase that seemed to work for this purpose was the Beetle van screen, which allowed me to edit the location (but no other features) of the weather app to the right spot on my desktop. This would’ve been fine and I would be still using it, but although the settings seem to allow for it, I couldn’t get the weather app to sit on top of my preferred desktop image instead of the beach scene (which is fine as an image, but far too busy for a desktop as far as I’m concerned). Also, I had to keep rebooting the app throughout the day as it wouldn’t stay on screen and I’d frequently return to my home screen and see the beach scene image with no weather on top. So, I’ve moved onto another app and am giving this 2-stars. Not expecting to get my $4.95 back, but wanted to share this less than satisfactory experience.

You cannot change the background, and the weather portion of the app does not work at all! Please fix!
